Well, I was hoping that Eric Mangini would join the ranks of the unemployed. Sure, the Browns pulled off three wins in a row at season's end, but it was despite Eric, rather than because of him. I don't know what the heralded "Mangini coaching style" is, but it seemed to me to be a Marquis de Sade approach to dealing with quarterbacks. Few Browns' fans failed to see the brow-beating both Anderson and Quinn were subject to under Mangini's tutelage. More a break-'em-down approach more appropriate to that of a Marine sergeant than that of a professional football coach. No fan could fail to notice the demoralization of Derek and Brady during the first half of the season. The phenomenal comeback of the Browns in the last three games wasn't because of Mangini - it was despite him. If any coach needs to hit the road more than this sorry excuse for a human, I don't know who that would be. But there he is; still at the helm. Eric Mangini is a jerk! He doesn't deserve his title and I suspect that the Cleveland brass has figured it would cost them more to get rid of him than to keep him on. God help us.... Sallie

I have felt the same way about the Titans Jeff Fisher for years. He always gets a pass but his teams have 1 superbowl appearance in 18 years. Any other coach would have been canned. Oh and by the way I think Colt McCoy is the real deal.

Browns suck. The coaching changes haven't changed anything. It's the curse of Art Modell!!!

Jeff Fisher, or that horse's ass, Bud Adams? I've gotta look into the Art Modell curse. Dare I hope that it will eventually be lifted, like the "Curse of the Bambino?" LOL!
