A. Collection of information
1. We collect user-submitted personal
information, including name, e-mail address, and birthdate, in order
to verify new accounts and send notifications regarding the Service.
We also collect additional data that is included in Member profiles,
including without limitation: occupation, interests, school affiliations,
gender, and location. This additional data may be available to other
Members and/or the general public for viewing.
2. We also collect non-personally
identifiable information, including IP address and browser type.
3. We do not collect or maintain
information on the Service from users whom we actually know to be under
13 years of age, and no part of our Service is structured to attract
anyone under 13.
B. Use of personally identifiable
information submitted to sportsmackoff.com
To facilitate the Service, sportsmackoff.com
displays to other Members and visitors some of the personal information
that we request. sportsmackoff.com displays Member profile information,
profile photo, and username, to enable us to personalize Members sportsmackoff.com
experience and to enable them to invite new friends and locate other
Members with similar interests. Your full name and e-mail address will
never be displayed to other Members. However, we use your e-mail address
to send notifications relating to sportsmackoff.com, including for example,
to confirm when one Member has requested to add you as a friend, to
provide notice that a Member has received a message or comment from
